WHAT WE DO
Club
Party with a Purpose
Introducing our youth to Christ with engaging excitement!
Best part of my week is going to YL club!
Club is a relaxed, safe and fun setting where kids and leaders gather to spend time together and where leaders share a message about Christ in terms kids can understand. It’s been called “controlled chaos,” “a party with a purpose,” and “planned spontaneity.” Club comes in a variety of forms, but it’s designed to introduce middle school and high school kids to Jesus Christ.
Volunteers
You were made for this
Volunteers bring value and support that is necessary for Club to happen. We are always looking for adults with hearts for our youth to help out in all capacities. We invite you to contact us to learn how you can contribute to our local youth.
YOUNG LIFE CLUB
Frequently asked questions
What day and time does Club happen?
We try our best to be consistent. Club for Wyldlife will be held at 7:02 PM every other Tuesday. We do have a public schedule for Clubs on our website, but also encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more immediate and current updates.
Where is Club going to be at next?
Club is intended to be spontaneous. We absolutely LOVE to have club hosted in the homes of our teens – and we love basement parties! Young Life does offer insurance and is always considerate of our hosts. If you’re interested in hosting a Young Life club, please reach out and let us know.
We encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for regular updates. Your child will also be in contact with one of our leaders who they can communicate with and when in doubt, message our local Staff (number at the top of the website).
Who do I contact if I've got questions?
There are multiple ways you can contact us:
Bryce Wisekal [Staff Associate]

You can use the website to Contact Us here.
You can use Facebook messenger.
You can use Instagram messenger.
For your convenience, we’ve also listed all our information on the Contact Us page, and at the top of the website (when viewing it on a desktop browser).
Is there a cost required to attend Young Life?
There is no cost or membership fees to attend Young Life Club.
There are times when we do hangouts at the Bowling Alley, or go swimming that have fees associated with them. We do our best to minimize costs, and we want to say it in advance that if there is ever concern about your child not attending due to costs, please let us know. We don’t want anyone to miss out due to finances.
Who and what are Young Life leaders?
The responsibility Young Life leaders have is to live lives that intentionally reflect, point to and imitate the example of Jesus. When we work with teens, our lives are “wide open” to them and they pay attention to our example, in our words, actions and choices.
You may hear your teens talking about their YL (Young Life) Leader and these are adults who have chosen to invest their lives with one of your teenagers. We encourage you to reach out to them, have them over for dinner, and get to know who it is your teen is talking about and wanting to spend their time with.
Can my teenager attend Club?
At this present time we are running “mixed mega clubs” within Dawson Creek which means we’re running club for all Grades mentioned below in one single club. We hope to have both these clubs running separate programs soon.
Senior High Young Life:
Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12
Wyldlife Dawson Creek:
Grade 6, 7 and 8
Right now, Young Life Dawson Creek is running a Wyldlife program which is for Grades 6, 7 and 8 (middle school teens). We hope to run more clubs soon, including high school club for higher grades in the near future.
TEEN TESTIMONY
Here’s what Ashley has to say…
“My favourite part about club is when you walk in and you find these adults who actually care about you! I feel accepted and loved just for being me.
Bryce and Desiree are really loving and caring people. They appreciate and love all the teens who come out to Young Life.
Young Life is something I look forward to every week because it gives me relief from the stresses of school and everything that’s going on at home. I get the chance to be someone else – someone I WANT to be.
This summer I got to go to Rockridge camp and it was literally the best experience of my life! It’s like a week long party with so much to do! I got to go on the longest dual zipline in Canada which I was terrified to go on, but one of the things about being at Rockridge is it pushes you out of your comfort zones and gives you the confidence you never knew you could have.
My favourite part about camp was Cabin Time. Cabin Time is where we got to speak freely about our life problems and I found out I wasn’t alone in most of what I’ve gone through so far.
Every memory made through Young Life and Rockridge is something special that you’re going to hold on to forever.”
